ABOUT US

TMC 92 Foundation is a charitable organisation founded by the 1992 batch medical undergraduates of Thanjavur Medical College and Hospital, Tamil Nadu, India. Our motto is to support the economically disadvantaged children with their education to provide them a bright and successful future. As the Chinese once said, “Give a man a fish and you feed him only once. Teach a man to fish and he’ll feed himself whole his life.” This quote correctly sums up what our charity is trying to achieve. We strongly encourage education for all, no matter what race, caste, gender, age or background.

We provide financial assistance/ grant towards school/ college fees, hostel fees, entrance coaching classes and other essential courses. We can also support with educational materials like books, computers, school uniforms and other essential things. We can improve their educational facilities for schools and colleges including libraries, toilets, sports equipment, etc. through our charity. We arrange courses or lectures for the improvement of the knowledge of the children and young people. We can also provide financial support to employ teachers for the economically challenged students. Our charity also aims to support students and teachers medically, emotionally and psychologically by providing appropriate medical care. All in all, we are there to make sure that every individual gets an equal opportunity in life to achieve their dreams without being disrupted by inevitable obstacles.

Our Charity is registered under section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 (Sl. No. SRG/Trichy/117/2021).
